Galexa Pro

One professional, three disciplines.

Galina Rupchanska — sworn translator, voice artist and language trainer. Working for international clients since 2003, from Kozloduy, Bulgaria, delivered worldwide.

Behind the microphone, and behind the glossary

The translation practice began in Sofia in 2003. What shaped it was not volume but environment: translating technical documentation and interpreting live for the international audits of the nuclear industry. In that setting a loose term is not a stylistic matter, so the habits that define the work now — maintained glossaries, agreed terminology, confidentiality as routine — were not adopted as policy. They were the only way to survive the job.

The voice work runs in parallel. A cheerful voice, vibrant and soft, that shifts from a positive teenager in a commercial to a mature, serious tone for a business film. More than ten years of drama classes stand behind every read, and the audiobooks have found loyal listeners. Since 2017 the recordings have gone to international clients — corporate overviews, UNDP campaigns, game characters, property films and Polish IVR menus.

The third strand is teaching: over fifty professionals trained in corporate English, with dual certification from Galexa and BAKEU "Optima", and an education centre certified to ISO 9001:2015.

These three are not separate businesses that happen to share an owner. A script translated here and recorded here uses the same terminology in both. A technical manual translated under a controlled glossary can be voiced for an induction course without a single term drifting. That is the argument for the whole arrangement.

The other half of Galexa

Alongside the professional practice, Galexa runs an education centre in Kozloduy for children, students and adults — in-person English courses, Cambridge exam preparation and competition training, with a closed digital environment for homework and materials.

It is a different audience with different needs, which is why it has its own site.
